A native of Alexandria, Brad Kintz returned to his hometown region to begin his real estate career after graduating in 2000 from the University of Virginia, where he had an injury-shortened football career and received degrees in economics and Spanish. As Brad strove to build his business, his degree in Spanish proved especially invaluable in reaching out to the DC area’s ever-growing Latino population. Just as invaluable throughout his early real estate days were the insights and perspectives he gained from growing up around the real estate business; understanding the tremendous emotional and financial impact a home has upon a family served as a figurative compass as the then rookie navigated the real estate industry.

Throughout his career, Brad Kintz has been recognized time and again for his ability to help DC area residents achieve their real estate ambitions and dreams. For his first-year production, Brad was named “Rookie of the Year” by Long & Foster, the largest real estate company in the mid-atlantic region. Quickly becoming one of the top Realtors in his office and the company, Brad also earned NVAR’s Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club award as well as NVAR’s Top Producer award each year from 2002 to 2008. Brad earned national recognition when he was named one of Realtor Magazine’s “30 Under 30” and was featured on the cover of the magazine’s June 2005 issue. In 2008, Brad was the #1 Producer for the Alexandria/Old Town Office of Long & Foster--selling more homes than all other agents and teams. In a market that was off by 25%, Brad had his best year ever!

Brad attributes much of his success to good old-fashioned hard work and tried and true principles—most notably exceptional personal service. While he leverages technology to advance his clients’ initiatives, Brad values personal contact over websites, mailers, and other passive activities. Every day, Brad’s focus is on helping people and finding people to help.

Brad’s contributions to the DC area community extend far beyond the walls of his Long & Foster office. Among numerous volunteer activities, he is very active at his church, serves as a mentor/tutor weekly at a local elementary school, provides Christmas gifts for families in need, and has spearheaded projects for weatherproofing low-income homes. Brad’s spirit of generosity consistently is a reflection of the outstanding service he brings to each of his clients.
